Leadership Team

The staff of Counseling For Change is diverse and most have attained at least a Master’s degree in his chosen field. CFC is also a teaching facility and offers internships to students from the University of Southern Indiana, IVYTech, and others. CFC provides “hands on” learning opportunities to as many as eight interns each semester. CFC believes that ongoing training is an important part of staff development, and all therapists are offered opportunities to attend seminars and workshops to keep up on the latest treatment protocols.  

Robin Maglinger, LCSW, LCAC

CEO

Robin Maglinger is a practicing psychotherapist with over twenty years of clinical supervision experience in psychiatric and addiction disorders. Mr. Maglinger is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, holding a Master of Social Work from that university. Mr. Maglinger also has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Evansville. He obtained licensing from the State of Indiana both as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor.

Mr. Maglinger is one of the few therapists in Southern Indiana that is certified as an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist/consultant. Mr. Maglinger oversees and directs the clinical staff. Beyond this role, Mr. Maglinger acts as a mentor to both interns and younger staff members. In addition, he continues to meet with clients in both group and individual settings. Mr. Maglinger specializes in the treatment of addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and personality disorders.

Christy Taylor

Chief Administrative Officer

Christy Taylor is an Evansville native who has been with CFC for 13 years. Ms. Taylor has an extensive background serving clients who are in recovery. Ms. Taylor is trained in Motivational Interviewing and Peer Recovery Support. Ms. Taylor serves as a liaison between counselors and referral sources through written and verbal communication while also overseeing and directing staff in day-to-day operations.

Tiffani Boots, LCSW, LCAC

Compliance Manager

Tiffani Boots is a therapist and Compliance Manager with CFC. Ms. Boots completed her Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Southern Indiana. Ms. Boots is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC). She is a DMHA Approved Compulsive Gambling Treatment Counselor and is trained in EMDR therapy. She has completed the advanced training in Moral Reconation Therapy.

Melissa Stinson, LCAC

Clinical Manager

Melissa Stinson is a therapist and Clinical Manager with CFC. Ms. Stinson completed her Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Southern Indiana. Ms. Stinson is currently a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) and a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). Ms. Stinson is an Indiana Problem Gambling Awareness Program (IPGAP) Approved Compulsive Gambling Treatment Counselor. Ms. Stinson is also trained in EMDR therapy. Ms. Stinson provides individual, group, and family therapy.

Kaitlyn Hoek, LCSW

Outpatient Clinical Manager

Katie Hoek is a therapist and Outpatient Clinical Manager with CFC. She completed her Master of Social Work Degree at Indiana University. Ms. Hoek is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and certified in Sand Tray Therapy. She provides individual and family therapy and specializes in the treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders with women and children who have experienced sexual trauma and interpersonal difficulties. She is a DMHA Approved Compulsive Gambling Treatment Counselor and is trained in EMDR therapy.
